Yes. Homegrown is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Blue Choice plans and we are out of network with all other major insurance companies (e.g., Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare). Homegrown is also a proud Early Intervention provider and we provide evaluations and ongoing speech therapy for families of children birth-three who have been referred for speech therapy through the Illinois Early Intervention program. We work hard to bring the speech room to you! All evaluations and speech therapy takes place at your home. Therapy can also take place at your child's daycare, preschool, or ABA center.

Our kids learn best where they are most comfortable - and for most children, this is at home. Providing services in-home allows your child's therapist to collaborate with YOU, the expert on your child, on a deeper and more sincere level. Not to mention, the convenience of in-home therapy can't be beat!

Yes! If your child didn't qualify for Early Intervention or school-based services but you have concerns about their speech, language, or feeding skills, we would be happy to partner with you, listen to your concerns, and provide you the support you are seeking. Support could be provided in the form of an initial evaluation, ongoing therapy sessions, parent coaching sessions, or a combination of all three.

During our parent coaching sessions, we take the time to listen to you and prioritize your concerns. Together, we will brainstorm strategies to target your child's speech, language, and feeding goals at home by aiming to create a home program that feels attainable for you. No extra worksheets or "speech homework" - we strive to teach you how to incorporate these strategies into your day to day in a way that feels natural and meaningful.

Absolutely! With your consent, we will collaborate with all of the professionals on your child's team. This includes teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, behavior therapists, dietitians, and/or doctors (e.g., pediatrician, developmental pediatrician, GI, etc.).
